This padi course is a taster session for anyone who wishes to find out whether scuba diving is for them before committing themselves to any courses.

The PADI Discover Scuba course consists of an introduction to the thrill of Scuba diving.

 
Meet your instructor Experience weightlessness
Learn how to assemble dive equipment Learn how to become neutrally buoyant
Put on your equipment in shallow water Underwater Somersault
Learn some signals and safety drills How to recover a lost regulator
Take your first breaths from a regulator What to do if water gets in your mask
Descend under water And time to simply swim underwater at leisure


 
Designed For
The Discover Scuba course and is open to human beings of 12 years and older. The discover scuba course can be credited towards a padi open water course and if you did the Discover scuba course with us you recieve £20:00 off the price off the PADI open water course  
Duration, Location and Dates

The PADI Discover Scuba course takes place at Clapham leisure centre on Clapham Manor street sw4 near Clapham Common tube station,or at the Latchmere leisure centre Burns road Battersea

The course in Clapham starts at 7.30 pm and lasts until 9.30 pm. The course in Battersea starts at 8.30 pm and lasts until 10.30pm. Dates on this link

When you enroll on a course with us you will have to complete a medical questionnaire if you answer yes to any of the questions on it then you will have to take a medical form to your Doctor and get their permission to dive. you can preview the medical questionnaire on the link below

You will need to bring your swimming costume and a towel.

EQUIPMENT

Big squid provide full equipment for all courses, we do however recommend that you purchase your own masks, snorkels and fins for comfort and hygiene reasons. We stock a range of theses items at our shop in Clapham.
